What does his body language say?

I haven't dated for several months, and I am so intrigued with reading body language. Anyways, a few nights ago, this guy asked me out and we went to the movie theater. I noticed that during the movie, not only did he keep on looking at me and observing me... when he sat down (we sat in LARGE chairs), he kept on leaning against the direction of my seat. There were times that his hand was actually in my seat (not on me but on my seat just next to me) or when his arm was leaning in closer to me, his elbow nearly touching me. He also put his arm around my chair a few times. It was the first time we hung out, so nothing really romantic or affectionate went on... but what do you think the body language I told you about says?

1. He was trying to get close to you in some form or way. you could have casually grabbed and squeezed his hand a bit when he put it on your chair and gave him a reassuring smile and let go. It would have been just the hint to tell him you enjoyed yourself with him at that moment. It would have caused him to be less anxious and more relaxed an that's the feeling you want him to associate with you. I can pretty much say he is attracted to you and I hope you guys hae a good second date.
2. I say continue dating him and see wht he does he obviously likes you!!! sooo...the question is do you like him? show him some of YOUR body language...
