Why do people tell teens to wait till older and in 20s to have sex/marriage then complain when they date 16 yr olds when in their 20s as those are the only ones who can match their Date count rating Their time with opposite rating Their No of times had sexual exp rating. As to have a relatioship you usually need to match it up. and pretty much everyone else would have nearly a 6 years on them. Therefore they could not compete. Ie if a you have 2 guys... one has been dating with some relationships lasting 6 months to a year. Countless kissing, dates, one night stands. & Your kid who you told to be a good boy & abstain & keep pure & study etc. So they grow up with no social skills, confidence with the opposite sex, be shy, needy, usless at kissing let alone anything else. No idea how to chat some1 up or handle body language plus consider themselves ugly & usless as watched everyone else progress. How on earth would they get some girl own age? Would be no different to applying for a job... they have 6 years experience... you have none... the girl would guaranteed go for the experienced guys with all the slick chat up and seduction technique, expert kissing and bedroom skills, knowing just what to say and waht not to. Ergo the one who waited will get birthday after birthday getting older but no more mature as can only mature with exp. Like no job, no exp, no exp no job. Therefore would only connect with somone much younger with same lack of dates... Oh and of course Mr experienced can also use said charm gained from exp with girls to sell cars, sell self in interviews, persaude, be popular, have good parties etc. Whilst other would struggle making frieds and loose in office politics Why would parents be sick and perverted enough to deliberately set their kids up for that? And not see somone older dating daughter was the result of such a policy. They try to tell us we are too young, Too young to really be in love They say that loves a word. A word weve only heard But cant begin to know the meaning of. Sounds like a lot of what you are saying is more about self confidence and maturity. As a parent, My motto is " Don't over protect your kids from the world, Prepare them for it. " I think dating is a part of growing up and should be permitted, however there are boundaries and rules at my house. (curfews, grades, maturity all factor in) . I do encourage my kids to make responsible decisions and hope that they at least wait for the right person before having sex.
because most parents have made all these mistakes with their life and want the best for their kids, we are not saying no to sex, marriage etc but making sure you are safe from all the heartbreaks to come and most of the parents would say if asked what would you do different if you could turn the clock back and they would all say they wouldn't get married, they would do well at school and get a good job and not have kids.

if all young people put as much thought and effort into their studies as they did this long and complex reason to be dating list wow would things be different basically at 16 your are only a few days sometimes out of under age sex, and if the parents wanted to push things the older more experianced partner could be charged with statutory rape. at 16 things are meant to be confusing,just beacuse you can have sex, get married etc etc even have a baby does not mean its the right thing to do. you should stay away from older guys as the will take advantage. you shoud stay away from much younger boys/men/woman/girls too for the sme reasons. just enjoy being young beacuse once you hit the real world and have bills etc to pay romancing will not be the first thing onyour mind.
You can have relationships in your teens without sex being involved, and just because a person is more experienced that doesn't necessarily mean that the relationship won't work, and to assume that everyone has the same "experience" just because they have a number 20/23/25 to their age is naive. If you're worried about being with someone without sexual experience, there is always someone in your age group who matches your relationship history. And just because you happen to have more sexual partners or relationships, does not nessesarily mean that you are good or better at them. You may believe you have better relationship skills because you have more partners or londer relationships, but for all you know you never learned the right way and you never did improve. SEX IS EASY, RELATIONSHIPS ARE HARD.
