What does this body language signal mean?
I know that when a person touches their hair it is a "grooming signal" and when a person folds their arms it is a "defense signal". What does it mean when someone tugs down their shirt? Are they covering up or trying to groom?
Public Comments
- Covering up, they are uncomfortable.
- they're probably scared, nervous, or they want to impress someone else and look cool?
- It would depend on who is pulling down their shirt, how far down they pull it and what pops out the top of the shirt as it is pulled down.
- If it is me I'm trying to look neat and tidy and hide my fat bits.
