Fix body language

What does this body language mean??

theres a lady that never had a father when she was little and her mother and step father emotionally abused her and was told she was ugly (when she is the most stunning women I have EVER seen) and she has low self confidence even though shes very talented and beautiful. her mom and step dad told her she would never make it big in life, and never said i love you to her. they told her she wasnt beautiful enough to be famous. whenever someone talks to her about her childhood or the father that died when she was 15 months old she starts blinking a little more, and she like moves her jaw sort of side to side slowely and licks her lips a little and sort of moves her tonge a little back and forth and her eyes just look really sad. its like she doesnt want to think of her past and remember it or be sad. what does this body language mean? what do you think she is thinking when she does that body language? p.s. this lady is 65.

  1. It is a tic, internalized stress, it is a outward manifestation of the anxiety she is experiencing.
  2. Maybe she's trying not to cry though what you described sounds a little odd. It's a shame she believed the junk her mom and step dad said. She missed so many opportunities. With some help she can gain a sense of self and make what's left of her life more enjoyable. That's a really sad example of how upbringing can affect a person.
  3. It is very disturbing for her to even be brought back to that time.I would say it damaged her in so many ways.I would say it is stress and a wanting a way out of talking about her past
  4. It is hard to say what it means specifically, but it does suggest that she is having more emotion, painful emotions, arise in response to the subject of her childhood being brought up.
