guys body language while watching a movie?

i was watching a comedy w/ 2 friends- a guy and a girl. the girl sat in the chair and the guy and i sat on the couch. during the movie i stayed in the same spot- but he moved around a bit: when i licked my lips, out of the corner of my eye i saw him begin to do so(it's his house, so he could've gotten water if he wanted...) at certain points in the movie he would lift himself and move slightly closer to the opposite side of the couch that was empty. i'm pretty sure that there's a mutual attraction on some level, so-what does this mean?

2. Doesn't seem like much, if he leaned toward you a little then thats an obvious sign, but if he moved away then that probably means he doesn't want to seem obvious, or nothing. But if he kinda talks to you a lot and gives you a lot of attention then he probably likes you but wants to see a sign from you first. Btw that could be another possibility, trying to see if you make some kindof move.
