I like him....I think he likes me BUT.......?

So this guy i'm crushin on is totally giving me signs that he likes me as well. -eye contact -smiles at me all the time -standing next to me for no reason -body language -teasing/joking around with me -make sexual references when joking But I start to think there is no way he could ever like me because I know a couple of his past GF's. They were petit,blonde hair. I am plus size,dark hair and eyes. Total opposite. We get along so well. I've only known him for about 2 months and we had an almost instant friendship. So what do you think? Could his type of girl he likes change? Is he flirting? Sexual reference was when he said something to me tormenting and i was like i think you need a slap. He said "oh yea thats the way i like it" So is this still just a friendly thing to do....or does it have more meaning?

2. there's absolutely no connection in having a crush and having dark hair or eyes. if you like him, and he does, give him his chance...
3. Petit blonde hair girls are probably no longer his type (past GF = ex girlfriends). Don't put yourself down, it sounds like he really likes you. However I doubt that it is in a romantic way. You said that he makes "sexual references when joking". Making "sexual references" with a possible romantic interest is tacky. So he most likely sees you as his new best friend. However I could be wrong because guys can be real simple sometimes. Good Luck P.S. Remember having confidence in yourself is attractive to the opposite sex. If nothing happens with this guy, there are others.
