Crushing on a professor!?
I know this has been played out a million times, but I need to tell someone and I am too embaressed to tell my friends. I have a major crush on my French professor and sometimes I feel like he has an attraction too. Someone said pay attention to body language and often he stands right in front of my desk when asking questions. Also, almost always when we start class or start a new exercise he asks me the first question, and I sit in a random seat so it doesn't really make sense for him to ask me all of the time. After practically every question I feel like he looks at me and makes eye contact, and of all the students he calls on me most (and it's extremely rare that I raise my hand). Why do you think he does this? I doubt that I would ever act on my feelings (especially not while he is still my teacher) but I just think that he may be trying to be a little flirty without being too obvious. What do you think, am I overanalyzing or does that seem a little out of the ordinary? I just want to add that I am in college, not high school and he will not be my professor anymore when the semester is over (in like a month). Also, I am only 21 but I am living on my own, paying rent and bills, and working so I feel that I am at least a little more mature than others my age.

- Don't go any further. You can ruin his career and your reputation. I'm sure that he sees you as a great student and since you haven't let him down and pay attention he knows he can count on you. I'm sure he sees you as his star student.
- it depends...you say professor so are you in college or are you still in high school or middle school? If you are in high school or younger forget it...it won't happen.
- my french teacher calls on me alot too, but i guest that's because i speak it fluently and always know the answers. anyways it sounds like a little crush i had one too, but got over when i finally told myself that i couldn't get him and he's married, but if he actually does like you then that's not cool and he'll go to jail if someone finds out. Leave him alone. i'm tryna be mean, but it's reality.
