Fix body language

How do I know these are signs of attraction?

So we "know" that, in general, when girls are attracted to a guy, they will point a foot at them maybe, they will smile at them, they will keep a conversation going, they will give long answers to questions, they will point their shoulders at the guy, their pupils will dilate (kill me, but I don't know how I'm supposed to watch for the radius of a girl's pupils expanding by 1mm while trying to listen to her at the same time, but anyways), they will play with their hair, etc. So there's a girl that gives me most of these signs. But my problem is, how do I know she doesn't just see me as a friend? Wouldn't she do all these things when she's talking to her girlfriends? I mean, what, is she going to cross her elbows, be unresponsive, and not smile at a friend? Is there specific body language for attraction? Maybe touching? She hasn't really done that, but she is also very shy, so you know how that can go...

  1. Body language is supposed to give you a "good sign" and not a definite sign that a girl likes you. If she likes you certainly she will do those things, but it's not guaranteed that all girls will mean the same thing when they show the signs that they like you.
