Body language?
You see an old friend, when he sees you he puts his head down but is looking at you. You wave at him and after you wave he puts his head back up and waves back. What kind of body language is that? Whats the meaning? We seen eachother for 7 months but were friends for years before we got together. My ex before him played drama and it was to much so he broke up with me.

- could be one of two things. He is trying to avoide seeing you or he feels insecure around you. Maybe he has or had a crush on you and he is embarassed.

- Sounds like a poor droopy plant that just got watered and sprung right back up. I would have to see it, but he either has a funny personality and is just playing with you, or he is pretty shy and didn't want to furiously wave at you like Forrest Gump. He waved back didn't he? Well alright then, nothing to worry about. Sounds like a nice guy.
