Help please, what does this strange body language mean?

most of the time when I pass my best friend in the hallway. She will tilt her head up and stick out her bottom lip. what does that body language mean? i asked her why she does it, she said it's her way of saying hello without using her hands. but is there another meaning? I'm just curious about body language Why does she stick out her bottom lip?

2. Not sure what this means, but yes body language is very interesting.
3. Don't over-analyze this meaningless, arbitrary gesture. In the same situation, some people raise their eyebrows, or lift their head, or about a hundred other things -- none of which have any real meaning. The important thing is that she's acknowledging you.
4. Mostly it means exactly what she says it means. Everyone has a non-verbal way of acknowledging someone they want to say "hi"...in situations that they can't wave or actually say, "Hi". Waving at your friends is kind of dorky nowadays anyway.
5. The meaning is she acknowledges your presence, she wants you to be her friend if you are OK. Ask her secretly and when you are at the proper time. You may try. Good luck!
