Was it just sex or does he really care about me?, and what does his body language mean?

he maintained eye contact whenever we weren't kissing, and when it was over, he didnt just roll over, we kind of laid together cuddling, but he isnt my boyfriend, we have known eachother for almost two years, and we have dated on and off but we have never been boyfriend and girlfriend
