I am looking for information on Japanese body language within specific social environments: Bar, wedding, funeral, work place, academic settings, dating, and familial settings.

- Wow, this is way too vague. The Japanese don't use very many hand gestures or facial expressions. They do a lot of bowing and kneeling. The lower status or younger person should bow lower than the higher status or older person. Women should bow with their hands folded in front of them. Men should bow with their hands at their sides. My husband is Japanese, I have taken numerous classes on Japanese language and culture, and I organize a Japanese language meetup group every weeknd. but I ond't know how to answer your question becaues it is overly broad.
