Ladies, if you give a huge huge smile, is that almost always flirting? I've been told about those sites about flirting and body language, and they are very interesting reads. Basically they state and I agree that basically all of flirting can easily be mistaken for not even flirting at all and sometimes you can be flirted with and not even know it. Though, there is one sign of flirting, that I think always most likely means flirting and I don't 100% see how it can be mistaken for not flirting. Say you girls just met a girl, he looks at you, and you end up with a HUGE HUGE smile on your face, I mean one that you can not possibly fake and it lasts the whole time he looks at you or at least 5-10 seconds. I mean your teeth show and your entire face is involved in the smile. The reason I bring this up is because I'm curious, don't think girls do this to a guy they don't like/don't want to flirt with, and because I actually get this a fair amount of the time, but often the girl is too young or taken, most of the time, they are too young.

Howeva, recently I felt like this is going to a different level...where it shudn't go as neither of us are available. I am wondering because I train horses and can read their body language and I can read most people's body language. But I have not been able to read the body language of "flirting/love/relationship". I was wondering if any of you knew were I could find this information? Thank you Ex 1: You stare into one anothers eyes, the guy looks away, and then looks at you again and holds his gaze longer. As if he was checking to make sure you were looking at him? This happens either when you are talking to him or you are across the room. Ex2: Even though he may be sitting next to you or you move across the room (to say go get a drink of water), he follows you with his body? he turns a 1/4 way to 1/2 so that he is always watching you; especially when other guys are around. Ex 3: He is being "protective" of you, but makes no move to verbally ask you out. ie: he makes sure you do not talk to other guys (single guys) for too long without him there. I dont know what i get from my "guy", he hasn't verbally asked me out, but he doesnt want me dating someone else. He is single also, so he is not with another girl. With a guy who is showing these "gestures", how can i return the "favor" and "egg-him-on" to ask me out or at least have him know that it is ok?

Is this flirting or friendly body language? A guy I work with used to point at me with his hands or fingers or feet (once holding onto my partition at work with his thumb thrust out at me while talking to someone else at the next desk) this slowly stopped but now if he's sitting by me I notice he is leaning towards me. Guys and Gals, do you understand and use body language cues when flirting or trying to capture dating bait? Interpreting social body language and using it to capture interest in the opposite sex seems to be a real art and craft. Sometimes the signals are so obvious, but we fail to receieve or understand them. I remember awhile back there was a very attractive, younger gal that I used to work very closely with, sitting next to each other in a graphic design office. She would come up and stand very close to ask something and "accidently" or brush against me. I didn't think much about it then, mainly because she had been married less than a year, but was already complaining about problems with her spouse. We used to always get teased that we would end up married, cos being a girl it's not the norm to have a really good boy-mate. He's funny, clever, good looking and makes me laugh more than anyone else in the world. Body Language to impress...? I really want my best friend. I've been lusting over him for two years, and can quite safetly say I'm in love with him. Why is he showing dejection body language? There is this guy at work that I am interested in. We talk occasionally and have flirted in the past. I sit in a high traffic area. I have noticed sometimes when he walks by me, he will put his hands in his pockets and slump his shoulders and look down. If (in both cases) a man gently touches a woman's head/hair, either in a playful manner like putting a hat on her or messing with her hair or smoothing it... How can I discern whether an East Indian woman is flirting or not? I am a man who finds himself in a dilemma. I have met an intelligent, witty, nice and beautiful East Indian woman. I am a rather attractive Hispanic professional myself, who is happily married. I can usually read the body language of western women, and respond appropriately. However I am at a loss when it comes to Indian women. This woman has data I need, and I cannot afford to offend her with a misunderstanding. I know Indians have a much different view of personal space than westerners. So I am not sure if she is just being friendly, or has more on her mind. I like another girl but her body language is very strange? I met a girl a few months ago and we got to know each other. She didn't know I had a boyfriend and in a conversation said in a casual kind of way, 'I'd kiss you' in response to a previous incident that had occured. We got to know each other and she asked me quite directly where my relationship with my boyfriend is going. I went to her birthday drinks and she kissed me goodbye on the lips but when I kissed her back she pulled away. Body Language - Are These Good Signs? The other night I went drinking with someone I suspect is attracted to me (and to whom I am majorly attracted as well). We're pretty comfortable with each other but are both shy when it comes to romance stuff. While sitting there I allowed my leg (thigh) to press against his, where it stayed most of the night. My hand, while on my leg, would half rest on his upper thigh from time to time too. He didn't move away (except to scoot back in his seat occasionally), and I did see him looking at me sideways a bit, smooth his hair, touch his chin/mouth, and mirror some of my movements. When talking his mouth was right by my ear (the bar was pretty loud though) Otherwise, he wasn't really showing a lot of interest - he was angled slightly towards me but not as much I was to him, and kept looking around the room. Would that he didn't get a lot of sleep the night before play a part? I'm confused and not very adept when it comes to flirting/confidently reading signals; are these good signs?

Does this body language mean anything? Our two friends were aruging/flirting, and as they were paying attention to each other we both caught each other looking at each other. I looked at him and i saw he was looking at me and we both looked away. Then I looked back up again, and we looked at each other for about 3 seconds, and I smiled at him and looked down. Body language help?!? Ok, so there's this guy I really really like. I met him through a business relationship through my family's business. I personally don't talk to him much more than saying "hi". I really want to make a move, but we're both pretty shy.The last time he was at the business, my dad was standing in the street and he was facing the business. I was standing in the business facing him(but not staring). When they were talking he kept looking over my dad's shoulder at me. Do You Rely On Body Language, Or What A Person Says? There is this 21 yr. old guy who works at a store across the street from me. I have talked with this guy for over a year now & I always get the impression that he is attracted to me. (I am 30.) I have flirted with him and told him he was cute. He was always very talkative and starring at me. His cousin started working there maybe 4 mos ago & he is drop dead gorgeous! Model material. Him & I have grown to be very good friends. (The cousin) He lets me use his car & lets me borrow money. He said I could have whatever I wanted. While we're joking & talking his cousin seems to get irritated and upset. I've questioned him about it & he really didnt deny being jealous. Other employees said they noticed it too. The cousin recently got engaged & the jealous one couldnt wait to tell me! I’ve read a lot about flirting body language/signals on the internet, like if someone likes you they’ll try to be near you and stare at you a lot, as soon as you look they’ll quickly look away etc… But then a lot of people say if they like someone they’ll try not to look at them or even avoid them? I know different people have different body language etc… that’s why I just wanted to know did you go by the book and it turned out to be wrong? What did you get wrong and what did you do?
